The Kimball Union Academy girls' varsity tennis team competes in the Lakes Region League, facing schools within the New England Prep School Athletic Conference (NEPSAC). The season kicks off in March with practices and challenge matches, and the team plays 1-3 matches per week throughout the spring.
KUA tennis emphasizes developing the fitness, skills, and strategies needed to thrive in a highly competitive league. Beyond the technical aspects, the program focuses on individual growth, sportsmanship, and teamwork, fostering a supportive environment where players can excel both on and off the court.
The goal of the KUA Tennis Program is to instill a lifelong love of the sport while preparing student-athletes for challenges in tennis and beyond. Whether competing in matches or building camaraderie with teammates, players leave the program with strong fundamentals, a competitive spirit, and lasting memories.

What a lovely evening for a match at Holderness! The team played great, with Adde, Piper, and Mia D bringing home singles victories, and the teams of Adde/Tougy and Mia D/Piper bringing home doubles wins! We had a yummy dinner from Biederman's deli on the way home. I'm so proud of the players!
It was a gorgeous afternoon for a tennis match beside Lake Winnipesaukee! We started with doubles and then went into singles, and we had some family spectators; thanks for joining us! KUA put a solid number of games on the board and played hard. Congratulations to Piper for bringing home a big win in singles! We'll be back at Brewster next Saturday for the Lakes Region tournament!
It was a gorgeous, sunny day for our senior day match vs. Northfield Mount Hermon at the KUA tennis courts! The team made posters for all of our seniors yesterday, and we hung them up on the fence. Everyone played super hard and gave their best effort against the excellent NMH team. While we did not come away with a team victory, I am very proud of the positivity, effort, and poise every player showed out there on the courts. It was wonderful to see all of our seniors out there playing scored matches: Ali, Tougy, Piper, Mia D., Mia W., Mary, and Liv. A big thank you to our senior manager, Lucy, for all of her help! After the match, we had a lovely little celebration in the lounge next to Doe with lemonade, snacks, and Katie's cookies! Thank you so much to all of the families for coming out to support, for bringing yummy snacks, and for gifting gorgeous flower arrangements to our seniors. I can't wait to finish out this fun season with you all!
