Reunion

Welcome Home to The Hilltop

Reunion 2025

To all the alumni who returned to The Hilltop - thank you for making our 2025 Reunion Weekend truly unforgettable! Your enthusiasm, warmth, and school spirit filled our campus with joy and laughter. It was wonderful to see old bonds rekindled and new memories made.

We celebrated several special milestones together:
  • The Class of 1955 dedicated a balcony in the Howe Dewdney Residence Hall, named in honor of, and appreciation for, Allan F. Munro and the Great Class of ’55.
  • The Class of 2020 returned for an in-person celebration of their graduation and reconnected five years later.
  • We were inspired by KUA's STEM, Global, Arts, and Cullman Scholars, who provided a glimpse of the incredible talent and passion of our students.
Thank you again for coming home to KUA and making this Reunion Weekend so special. We can't wait to welcome you back to The Hilltop soon! In the meantime, enjoy photos from the weekend

    Hayes Auditorium, Fitch Science Center
Enjoy this nostalgic documentary about love, loss, and the ways we seek connection with those who came before us. Told from the filmmaker’s perspective, Dustin Meltzer ’05, the story centers on Dale Meltzer ’66—a devoted collector of cars and license plates—and how his passions became the conduit for connection, particularly with his father, Leo, whom he lost at a young age. Through personal reflection, archival material, and the physical presence of Dale’s collection, the film becomes a tender meditation on memory, identity, and what the objects we hold onto come to mean over a lifetime.

The film was made possible with the support of fellow alumni Emu Haynes ’17 (Cinematography), Stephen Rogers ’04 (Sound), Dale Meltzer ’66 (Subject and Dad), as well as the KUA Faculty Summer Sabbatical Program.
