• May I take my child off campus for dinner on Thursday evening?

  Because there are so many events taking place on campus, we prefer that students and their immediate family stay on campus.  A special graduation dinner will be held, and this is a great opportunity to gather in celebration of the weekend.

• How can I invite people to graduation?

  Families may order invitations for friends and family through Josten's, our graduation vendor. Please call 1-800-567-8367 and mention you are from Kimball Union.

• How many people can attend graduation?

  We plan to hold graduation on the Bicentennial Quadrangle. There are plenty of seats and space for as many guests as you would like to invite. In the event of severe inclement weather, graduation will take place in Flickinger Auditorium. Seating will be given in priority order of immediate family, extended family and friends. Because seating in Flickinger is limited we will live broadcast the ceremony to other locations on campus to accommodate all guests.

• Is there reserved seating at graduation?

  There are not reserved seats, but there will be plenty of seats for everyone. We ask that you arrive after 10:00 am to choose seats.

• Where will the ceremony be held in the event of incement weather?

  Commencement will be held on the quad, rain or shine. While we will plan for bright blue skies and warm temperatures, please be sure to bring clothes that would allow you to be comfortable outdoors if it does happen to be cool and damp.
