Evenly Contested Match Falls Proctor's Way

Two teams battled in what must be considered a relatively even match, though in the end speed and aggressive play carried the Proctor girls' JV soccer team to a 1-0 victory over an earnest Wildcat side. The Wildcats were led today by warrior efforts from Freshman wingback Frannie Wetherbee, Senior Midfielder Alicia Malagon, and Sophomore Defender Alieka Feid. Also worthy of note was the effort of Senior co-captain Mallory Schell who played with increasing focus and determination throughout the match. Proctor, while not overly experienced, sported a quick and aggressive compliment of players. They were also strong up the middle, with a centerback who left nothing to chance and who kept the Wildcat sorties at bay. All in all a fun day of soccer for all!
