KUA Improves to 5-0
The KUA Football Team remained undefeated with a 27-14 win over Portsmouth Abbey today on Pope Field in Meriden, NH. The visitors took an early 7-0 lead when they returned an interception 15 yards for a touchdown. KUA came right back when Kevin Vieria took a short Alex Skinner pass 76 yards for the tying score. In the second quarter Casey Tanner got into the end zone for KUA on a 6 yard run. Portsmouth Abbey came right back tying the score at 14 on a 46 yard touchdown run. The teams headed to the half tied at 14.
In the second half two KUA scores was the difference in the ball game. Skinner scampered 3 yards for a third quarter score and Vieria had a 36 yard run in the fourth quarter.
