KUA Football Team Posts Second Win!

The Kimball Union football team defeated the Pomfret School on Sunday 35-0 at Pomfret. The Wildcats opened the scoring in the first period on a 25 yard touchdown pass from Ryan Burgess to Kevin Gangelhoff.

Travis Jones ran for two second quarter touchdowns of 6 and 1 yard to open a 21-0 halftime lead. Jones added another touchdown run of 5 yards in the third period and finished the day with a 157 yards on 16 carries.

Kevin Vieira completed the KUA scoring with a 10 yard touchdown run in the fourth quarter. In addition to his touchdown catch, Kevin Gangelhoff coverted all five of his PAT conversions.

Ryan Burgess was very effective directing the KUA offense and completing passes to a variety of KUA receivers. The Wildcats will host Holderness School next Saturday at 6:00 p.m.
