KUA vs. Proctor

Our second home game against Proctor Academy ended on a high note Wednesday afternoon.  In the first quarter, Elena Simon scored our first goal off of a penalty corner.  The game went into the half at 1-0 with the game being pretty evenly matched. Then, in the 4th quarter, KUA got another penalty corner that resulted in a penalty stroke being called due to a defensive player having the ball hit their body when it otherwise would have gone into the goal.  Again, Elena Simon was the one to score on that 1v1 penalty stroke putting KUA up 2-0.  The game ended at that and the girls were very excited for their first home field win.  Defensively, our goal keepers split their time each having a few saves but no defensive penalty corners were called on us, a huge improvement from the previous game.  Coaches were happy and we are excited to hit the road for our next game against Tilton School on Friday, September 25th.
