Wildcats Hammer NMH in 4 Innings

Leila Portugal and Stella Prieto each hit home runs, and Anna Baker earned the win in the circle, striking out seven in process, as the Wildcats beat Northfield-Mount Hermon 19-1 on Monday in Meriden. KUA put up 12 runs in the first as the Wildcats had a keen eye at the plate (14 walks on the day) and added plenty of hits to bolster the offense. Prieto and Portugal each had three hits and three RBIs, while Baker, Kennedy FitzSimons, and Gabi Young also added hits.
