KUA Hits But Falls to Cushing

The Wildcats belted 13 hits, but they couldn't string enough together at the right times to produce enough runs, ultimately falling to a strong-hitting Cushing team 11-4 on Wednesday in the first of two games. Anna Baker and Stella Prieto each had three hits, and Gabi Young had two to pace the offense, but the Wildcats stranded nine batters on base and could not rally enough to pull even.
