Pitchers Keep Bats Quiet as Wildcats Fall to K-O

In a matchup against the defending Western New England champions Kingswood-Oxford, the Wildcats fell 3-0 on the road in Hartford, CT on Wednesday. The KUA battery of pitcher Bailey Cassin and catcher Avy Arias was solid for the Wildcats, as Cassin struck out six batters and allowed just six hits in six innings. Gabi Young had the lone hit for KUA, while Anna Baker, Leila Portugal, and Avy Arias (2) all drew walks. Next up, the Wildcats continue their play on the road as they travel to Williston-Northampton on Saturday.
