Cold Shooting Night at Home as Wildcats Fall to Tilton
Kimball Union Academy’s JV1 boys’ basketball Wildcats dropped a tightly contested home game to Tilton School, 43–40, on a night when scoring was hard to come by. Tilton’s zone defense disrupted KUA’s offensive rhythm, contributing to a low-scoring affair throughout.
KUA trailed 21–20 at halftime and battled down to the final possessions, but was unable to find enough late baskets to close the gap.
Leading the Wildcats were Myles Boston with 16 points and Henry Sullivan with nine. Additional scoring came from Adi Lesbek (3), Eli Modzeleski (4), Nate Gabin (2), Bear Martin (4), and William Gordon (2).
Kimball Union Academy will look to bounce back on the road this Saturday, February 7, when the Wildcats travel to Brewster Academy for a 4:00 p.m. tip-off against Brewster's Varsity team.
