The Kimball Union Academy JV1 boys basketball team jumped out to an early lead, holding an 8–6 advantage after the first quarter in a home matchup against St. Paul's School. Unfortunately for the Wildcats, cold shooting continued as the game went on, while St. Paul’s found a rhythm offensively.
By halftime, St. Paul’s had taken control with a 23–14 lead, and they maintained that momentum through the second half. The final score from Alumni Gym was St. Paul’s 47, KUA 28.
Scoring leaders for KUA:
Myles Boston — 12 points
Henry Sullivan — 7 points
Bear Martin — 3 points

The Wildcats will look to bounce back this Saturday, January 24, when they return to Alumni Gym to take on Phillips Exeter Academy. Tip-off is set for 4:00 p.m.
