Wildcats Win at St. Paul's

In a Saturday match-up at St. Paul's, the Wildcats skated away with a 4-2 after Josh Phillips scored the winning goal with 3:48 remaining to break a 2-2 tie. Conal Mulkerrin opened the scoring for KUA halfway through the first period, with Phillips and Jackson Kimelman assisting on the play. With the score tied 1-1 in the second, Nasean Faria picked the top corner on a shot off the rush to give KUA the 2-1 lead. Jack Ross and Carter Cowan earned assists. St. Paul's tied the game late in the second, and the game remained that way until Anthony Leech passed to Lucas Hannay late in the third. Hannay sent a wrist shot toward the net, which Phillips collected and deposited into the net. Mulkerrin added the fourth goal into the empty net, with Kimelman and Jackson Davies earning assists. Goalie Cam Ingram was strong for KUA, stopping 25 shots for the win.
