Wildcats Control Play, but Fall to Tilton

Despite holding a 56-17 shot advantage, KUA ran into a red-hot Tilton goalie and lost 2-1 on Friday in Meriden. The Wildcats opened the scoring in the second period when Jackson Kimelman buried a shot from the slot off a pass from Conal Mulkerrin. Josh Phillips also assisted on the play. However, Tilton tied the game late in the second. KUA continued to control the play in the third period, but a Tilton powerplay goal that bounced off a KUA defender gave the visitors a 2-1 lead, which they protected to the end.
