Wildcats Overcome Cold Second Quarter to Beat Tilton on the Road

The Kimball Union Academy JV1 boys basketball team earned an impressive road victory on Wednesday, rallying past Tilton School for a 66–60 win.

Kimball Union Academy got off to a strong start, setting the tone early and holding a 19–13 lead at the end of the first quarter. A cold-shooting second quarter, however, nearly proved costly. The Wildcats struggled to score, allowing Tilton to seize momentum and take a 40–26 advantage into halftime.

Coming out of the locker room, Kimball Union Academy responded with renewed focus and intensity on both ends of the floor. The Wildcats steadily chipped away at the deficit throughout the second half, turning defense into offense and regaining control of the game down the stretch.

Eli Modzeleski led the way with a game-high 21 points. Myles Boston added 12 points, while Henry Sullivan contributed 10. Adi Lesbek finished with 9 points, Bryson Morgan scored 6, and Jason Wang added 3. Nate Gabin and Kayden MacIntosh each chipped in 2 points, and Bear Martin rounded out the scoring with 1.

The strong second-half effort propelled Kimball Union Academy to a well-earned 66–60 victory.

The Wildcats return home this Saturday to face Northfield Mount Hermon in Alumni Gym. Tip-off is scheduled for 3:00 p.m.
