Wildcats Battle to the Finish Against Cardigan Mountain School
The Kimball Union Academy JV1 boys basketball Wildcats showed resilience and heart in a tough matchup against a more athletic Cardigan Mountain School squad. Despite facing a significant challenge, KUA brought energy and effort from start to finish.
Cardigan took control early, building a 35–17 lead by halftime. The Wildcats, however, continued to compete on both ends of the floor in the second half, refusing to back down. The final score settled at 60–40 in favor of Cardigan, but the effort and fight from KUA were evident throughout.
Leading the way for the Wildcats was Myles Boston with 14 points. Nate Gabin added 8, while Michael Ho and Bryson Morgan each contributed 5. Jason Wang scored 3 points, with Adi Lesbek and Cayden McIntosh adding 2 apiece. William Gordon chipped in 1 point to round out the scoring.
Kimball Union Academy will look to carry that same energy on the road when the Wildcats travel to Tilton School on Wednesday, January 14. Tip-off is scheduled for 3 p.m.
