Northwood Tops KUA to Open Gamesheet Cup

The Wildcats fell behind 3-0 to Northwood School early in the second period, but roared back to make it a 3-3 game after two before ultimately falling 5-3 on Friday in the opening game of the Gamesheet Cup tournament in Exeter. Dawson Wood, Josh Phillips, and Lucas Hannay all scored for KUA while Phillips, Aaron Sheck (2), Jackson Kimelman, and Alexis Gagne all picked up assists. Goalie Cam Ingram kicked aside 33 of 37 Northwood shots, with the last goal coming on an empty KUA net as the Wildcats pressed for the tying goal with the extra attacker.
