KUA travels to Proctor Academy for the second meet of the season
The second meet of the season was held at Proctor Academy on Wednesday, September 24th. Despite the rain, the Wildcats turned in great performances across the board.
The girls’ team had three runners competing, and all three finished impressively close together, placing 6th, 7th, and 8th overall. Caroline’s race was especially notable, after taking a fall, she got back up, pushed through, and still secured points for the team. Their collective effort earned the Wildcats a solid third-place finish.
The boys’ team had four runners score for the Wildcats, led by Thomas, who placed 2nd overall. Jasper, Michael, and Spencer also contributed with finishes in the top 10 and top 15, securing points that allowed the boys to place 2nd place overall.
Both the boys and girls had great performances on Wednesday. They ran hard and did not let the rain stop them putting in their best efforts. Great job and keep up the good work, Wildcats!
