After tying the game with three minutes to play in the third period, the Wildcats found themselves on the short end of a 2-1 score after Salisbury scored midway through the first overtime period to advance to the NEPSAC finals. Down 1-0 late in the game, Will Blackburn fed Jaiden Moriello in the slot and Moriello's quick wrist shot found the back of the net to tie the game and set up overtime. Nine minutes into the extra frame, a Salisbury shot sailed toward the KUA net and bounced off a KUA player before finding the back of the net. Goalie Dan Heroux stopped 31 shots for the Wildcats, who graduate 10 seniors.
