After a regular season that saw the Wildcats go undefeated in Lakes Region play, the Wildcats also captured the playoff title, beating Holderness 4-1 on Saturday in Meriden. Jaiden Moriello scored three minutes into the game and Mike Sullo put the Wildcats up 2-0 halfway through the first period. After Holderness cut the lead in half in the second, Will Blackburn made a nice move at the Holderness blue line and scored the third goal for the home team. The Wildcats shut down the Holderness offense in the third and Moriello added an empty-netter to round out the scoring. Goalie Dan Heroux was excellent in net, stopping 32 shots for the win.
