For the second time in as many nights, the Wildcats and the Cushing Academy Penguins battled in a playoff-style game that ended in a 2-1 final. This time, Cushing was on the winning end thanks to an early goal in the first period and a late goal in the second. Tyler Wishart narrowed the gap, depositing a goal with 10 minutes to play in the game, but that was as close as the Wildcats could get. Dan Heroux was excellent in net for the second night in a row, making 34 saves.
