Wildcats Sting Hornets

After a scoreless first period, the KUA Wildcats put up three goals in each of the next two periods to beat the Proctor Academy Hornets 6-0 on Wednesday in Andover. Connor Chalmers opened the scoring at 6:33 of the second, converting on a wrist shot off a feed from Tyler Wishart. A minute later, Will Blackburn deposited a tic-tac-toe passing play with linemates Jackson Kyrkostas and Jaiden Moriello to give KUA the 2-0 lead. Just three minutes after that, Blackburn's great individual effort on the penalty kill led to a shorthanded goal and a 3-0 KUA lead. In the third, Wishart, Moriello, and Mike Sullo all tallied for KUA to round out the scoring. Goalie Colby Boyce earned the shutout, stopping all 16 Proctor shots he faced.
