Kareem Alazem scored three minutes into overtime as the Wildcats won a hard-fought game over a strong Holderness team on Saturday. After Holderness tied the game late in the third period, the extra frame saw Will Blackburn chip the puck off the boards to Jackson Kyrkostas, who won the race to the puck in the Holderness zone before feeding Alazem in front for the game winner. Alex Keller opened the scoring for the second night in a row, converting from the slot six minutes into the first period. Matej Svoboda and Revy Mack earned assists on the play. With five minutes left in the second period, Jaiden Moriello buried a pass from Blackburn to give the Wildcats a 2-1 lead after two. Duncan Ramsay also picked up an assist on the play. Goalie Dan Heroux stood tall in the KUA net, making 28 saves for the win.
