The Wildcats jumped out to a 3-0 lead early in the first period and never looked back, earning a 5-2 win at New Hampton on Saturday. Will Blackburn scored just 58 seconds into the game to open the scoring and Conner Chalmers extended the lead one minute later. At 5:32 of the first, AJ Noel's one-timer from the high slot sailed past the New Hampton goalie's shoulder for the 3-0 lead and eventual game-winning goal. Jaiden Moriello added a second-period goal while Tyler Wishart tallied in the third to round out the scoring for the Wildcats. Dan Heroux was strong in net, stopping 32 of 34 shots for the win.
