Last-Minute Heroics -- KUA Tops Salisbury at Flood Marr

Revy Mack converted a Tyler Wishart pass with 13.7 seconds to play to give the Wildcats a dramatic 3-2 win over Salisbury on Sunday at the Flood Marr Tournament. On the play, defenseman Conner Chalmers started the play out of the KUA end with a pass to Jackson Kyrkostas, who deftly passed the puck indirectly off the boards to a streaking Wishart down the left wing. As Wishart drove wide, Mack drove the net and tapped home the perfect pass to complete a three-goal comeback win. After falling behind 2-0 early in the second, the Wildcats got two huge goals, one from Matthew Maltais and the other from Jaiden Moriello, to tie the game heading into the third. Goalie Dan Heroux was strong in net, making 21 saves for the Wildcats and holding the fort long enough for Mack's winning tally. The Wildcats are off until January, when they take on Northwood at the True Prep Cup in Salem, NH.
