KUA 5 Groton 2
GVH beat Groton on Saturday afternoon 5-2 in front of a large crowd at Akerstrom Arena.
Gwyn McGee opened the scoring on assists from Teegan Duffy and Sophie Coelho. Abby Flanagan and Lucie Turcotte each scored to open the margin to three goals before Groton pulled two back. In the third, Mo McBride put KUA back up two goals and Lulu Leppard capped the scoring with her 1st career goal. Shannon Moran made 23 saves in earning the win. Additional point scorers included Chedel, Joslin, and Cohkinos with assists. Senior, Gretchen Dann added two assists in the third period in helping KUA even its record to 1-1.
