KUA falls to SPS in Final Season Match

GJVS played SPS under cloudy skies on a soggy field this Saturday. SPS came out on the offensive early and challenged the defense of co-captain Kylie Donovan, Maggie Lopez, senior Briana Angelli, and Elsa Shortlidge. Ada Yoder was busy in net making key saves despite numerous SPS shots on goal. Amazingly, KUA was only back by 1 at the half, despite a tight contest in the midfield for co-captain Addie Kopacz, Hannah French, Emilia Williams, and Gabi D'Angelo. The KUA offense continued to look for chances and had some good opportunities, thanks to the efforts of Hadley Bethke, Julia Ferro Anton and Ella Wang. Jitselin Montas had some good drives up the wings in midfield as well. Special shout out to Hannah Black and Nangsel Norgay for keeping the game clock. Final score was 0-7 SPS, but the GJVS played with a lot of heart and fought hard the entire game.
