Official Website for Kimball Union Wildcats

Kimball Union is proud to offer the best care by highly educated and certified athletic trainers to support the health and performance of our student-athletes.
In cooperation with physicians and other allied health care providers, our athletic trainers provide health care services that focus on prevention of injury, emergency care, clinical diagnosis, therapeutic intervention, and rehabilitation of injuries or other medical conditions. Our athletic trainers provide early evaluation and treatment of athletic injuries while educating athletes in their prevention and recognition.

Certified athletic trainers must earn a degree from an accredited athletic training program and successfully meet the requirements for certification established by the NATABOC. Our certified athletic trainers are also licensed to practice within the state of New Hampshire. Our dedicated staff hosts conferences and forums, and are leaders in the field of sports medicine.

Kimball Union’s Athletic Training Clinic is a health care facility on campus, in the Whittemore Athletic Center, where athletes receive treatment, care, preventive assistance, and rehabilitation. The athletic trainer is responsible for providing health care services designed to prevent injury and maintain the athlete's ability to compete safely at the highest level. All treatments and rehabilitations can be performed on site for an athlete participating in any of our athletic programs.
