Certified athletic trainers are highly educated and skilled health care professionals who specialize in athletic health care. In cooperation with physicians and other allied health care providers, our athletic trainers provide health care services that focus on prevention of injury, emergency care, clinical diagnosis, therapeutic intervention, and rehabilitation of injuries or other medical conditions. Athletic trainers provide early evaluation and treatment of athletic injuries while educating athletes in their prevention and recognition.
Certified athletic trainers must earn a degree from an accredited athletic training program and successfully meet the requirements for certification established by the NATABOC. Our certified athletic trainers are also licensed to practice within the state of New Hampshire.
