Ashley Meunier '04 Named Communications Manager for USA Field Hockey
Ashley Meunier '04 was recently appointed the Communications Manager for USA Field Hockey, the United States Olympic team.
Meunier is a graduate of Endicott College and first became interested in becoming involved with the Olympics when she did an undergraduate internship working with the US Bobsled and Skeleton teams in Lake Placid, NY.
She played varsity field hockey at both Kimball Union and Endicott and followed USA Field Hockey. When she learned that the position was open, she applied feeling it was a great match for her interests and skills. She was short-listed from a huge field of applicants, and was invited to interview in Colorado Springs and received an offer soon after.
"I wanted to share my story because this really is a dream-come-true for me," she said. "I hope it will encourage KUA students to dream big and set their goals."
Meunier will be based in Colorado Springs but will travel world-wide with the team. Congratulations Ashley!
