KUA Saddened by Death of Dan Westgate
Dan Westgate, a beloved figure at Kimball Union Academy who dedicated many years of his life to working in the Athletic and Facilities and Operations departments, died peacefully in his sleep on July 4, 2006.
Dan Westgate, a beloved figure at Kimball Union Academy who dedicated many years of his life to working in the Athletic and Facilities and Operations departments, died peacefully in his sleep on July 4, 2006. Dan worked at KUA until last year, when in his late 80's he was forced to retire for health reasons.
There will be a graveside service for Dan on Saturday July 8th at 2pm,at the Gleason Cemertary on Gleason Road, followed by a reception in the Congregational Church Parsonage on Main Street in Meriden. (Gleason Rd. is directly across from Dad’s House, formerly the Brewster Guest House off Bean Road).
