KUA Travels to Holderness for Lakes Region League Meet

What a gorgeous, sunny day it was for a cross-country meet! On Wednesday, September 23rd, the Wildcats traveled to Holderness to kick off their season in the first Lakes Region League meet of the year.

Michael led the way for the Wildcats, backed by strong, encouraging efforts from newcomers Luke, Keitaro, and Jeffrey.

Our small but mighty girls’ team delivered fantastic efforts across the board. Caroline thrilled her team with a fierce sprint finish down the stretch, while Claire showed incredible persistence all the way to the finish line. Newcomer, Gwen, had a wonderful first race, capping it off with a strong sprint of her own, and it was great to see Sophie looking strong and confident throughout her run.

Given the determination and heart shown in this opening meet, the coaches are proud of the team's effort and excited to see everyone progress as the season unfolds. Well done, Wildcats!
