Wildcats Roll in Home Opener

In the home opener on Saturday the Wildcats belted 15 hits and scored 15 runs to beat Brewster 15-0 to earn the run-rule victory. KUA pitchers Bailey Cassin and Anna Baker each threw two innings for a combined perfect game, never allowing a runner while striking out ten Brewster batters. Offensively, Leila Portugal and Kennedy FitzSimons each had three hits while Baker and Avy Arias had two each. Aiyonna Gay, Gabi Young, Stella Prieto, and Olivia Parker also contributed hits to the offense. FitzSimons led the charge with four RBIs while Parker and Young each had two. Next up, the Wildcats host Tilton on Monday at 5:00.
