KUA Announces Talented Cohort of Newly Admitted Students
Future Wildcats received the news they’d been hoping for on March 10 as Kimball Union Academy announced admission decisions for the 2026-2027 school year. The Office of Admission capped off its most competitive enrollment cycle to date with a record number of applicants seeking the opportunity to receive a transformative KUA education.
In the end, more than 200 new students were admitted, representing 32 U.S. states and 22 countries.
“Students continue to be drawn to KUA's unique ability to provide broad experiences with impressive depth and excellence across arts, athletics, and academics,” Director of Enrollment Management Josh Labove said. “At KUA, you really don't have to choose —students come to our admission process and make the choice to enroll excited about all that will animate their days on The Hilltop.”
The Admission team connected with hundreds of families throughout the application process. After an extensive review, the team admitted a cohort of students that will enrich the KUA community and benefit from their experience on The Hilltop.
Over the weeks and months ahead, the Admission team will visit admitted students in eight countries before welcoming future Wildcats back to campus for Admitted Student Day events in March and April. These events will allow newly admitted students to connect with future classmates, engage with faculty, and explore the many opportunities that await.
