Wildcats Top Westy at Flood-Marr

In their first game of the annual Flood-Marr tournament in Boston, the Wildcats got three-point games from Conner Chalmers (2G, 1A) and Tyler Wishart (1G, 2A) en route to a 5-3 win over a tough Westminster squad. Chalmers sandwiched two goals around a goal by Alex Keller before Westminster tallied late to make the score 3-1 after one period. Westminster narrowed the gap with a goal early in the second, but Revy Mack tipped home a Chalmers' shot halfway through the period to restore the two-goal lead. In the third, Westminster pulled within one again but goalie Dan Heroux (22 saves) and the Wildcats held on long enough for Wishart to ice the game with a shorthanded empty-net goal in the final minute.
