KUA Gets Great Win over NHS

KUA played against New Hampton on Brewster Field and won 3-1
In the first half, the Huskies came out on fire and kept Wildcat goalie Ada Yoder extremely busy. The Huskies scored the first goal. Briana Angelli had a great game as center back, helping the defensive line of co-captain Kylie Donovan, Hannah Black, Maggie Lopez, and Elsa Shortlidge. The midfielders Addy Kopacz, Hannah French, and Jitselin Montas did great work distributing the ball up to the forward wings Jane Zhong and Julia Ferro Anton. Fortunately, KUA was able to rally and keep it 1-1 at the half thanks to striker Hadley Bethke's 1st goal late in the half. KUA kept up the momentum in the 2nd half, with Hadley Bethke scoring two more goals for a hat trick. She received an assist from forward-wing Ella Wang on the first goal, then an assist from co-captain Addy Kopacz for the 2nd, and scored the final goal off a free kick on the edge of the 18-yard box. At the end, KUA won 3-1 in a hard-fought match with the Huskies. Join us Saturday for the season's final game against SPS home on Grenier Field.
