GJVS Loses to St Paul's School
GJVS played a challenging match against SPS
On a sunny Wednesday, KUA GJVS travelled to St Paul's School. The Pelicans got out to an early lead, scoring in the first couple minutes. In the midfield, Hadley Bethke created some great scoring opportunities for the Wildcat strikers Jitselin Montas, Julia Ferro Anton, and Ella Wang. The Pelican offense was formidable and working the ball up the wings, made good crosses to challenge the KUA defense led by co-captain Kylie Donovan, along with Sabrina Haberstock, Briana Angelli, and Hannah Black. Ada Yoder had a solid game in net, but the SPS offense was constantly pressuring the net. Midfielders Hannah French, Gabi D'Angelo, Emilia Williams, and co-captain Addie Kopacz did their best to break up the Pelicans plays. However, the SPS team showed good ability to switch the ball quickly and pressured the KUA defense from multiple directions. Ultimately, SPS won 4-0. Join us on Friday at Holderness School.
