Senior Night at Kimball Union Academy

The KUA Varsity Ice hockey team honored their three seniors in the final game of the 2020-2021 season. Hannah Wiczek, Kate French, and Kat Maniatis all played their final career game for KUA. We are grateful for all that these seniors have contributed to the program and the community throughout their time at KUA.

The Wildcats left nothing on the ice for their final game of the season. Coming back from a tough loss the previous night the team was ready to go from the start. Sophomore Avery Holland scored the first goal of the game, also her first career goal. Abby Flanagan scored the next goal of the night. Mo McBride scored two goals in a row. Delaney Williams assisted her second goal. Abby Flanagan Scored the final game of the night with an assist from Audrey Donahue and Lucie Turcotte.

Goalie Shannon Moran also had a very nice game, only letting one goal pass throughout the three periods. Senior Molly French played a fantastic game on defense as she worked hard to keep the puck in the zone. Kat Maniatis also played an excellent game as she put a record number of shots on goal.
The Wildcats finished up an excellent and somewhat different season rising to the challenge of playing in masks and without fans in the stands. They finished up the year with an impressive 8-2 record.
