KUA Enters First Professionally Timed Race of Season

The Wildcats had their first experience as a team with professional timing at Proctor Academy. Other Lakes Region League schools in attendance were: Proctor Academy, Holderness School, Dublin, Cardigan Mountain School, Brewster Academy, New Hampton School, Vermont Academy, Tilton Academy,  and White Mountain School. For the Kimball Union Academy Boys, Owen McBride (9th place, 19:23), Gabe Laszewski (18th place, 20:26), Declan Clark (50th place, 24:20), and James Chen (53rd place, 26:11) were the scorers for a total of 130 points and a 9th place finish. For the Kimball Union Academy Girls, Lexy Gray (15th place, 25:42), Ruilin (Ellen) Hu (27th place, 28:28), and Ariatnny Castillo Montero (30th place, 29:49) were the scorers with a total of 72 points and a 7th place finish. the athletes will return to action at Vermont Academy next Wednesday.
