Big First Period Propels KUA Past St. Paul's

A five-goal first period put the game out of reach early, as the Wildcats defeated St. Paul's 6-1 on Saturday in Meriden. Andrew O'Sullivan, Mike Sullo, Sam LeDrew (with two), and Jackson Kyrkostas tallied in the first to give the Wildcats a 5-0 heading into the locker room. St. Paul's got one goal back in the second, and Kyle Murray-Smith scored in the third period to round out the scoring. Goalie Dan Heroux turned aside 25 of 26 shots for the win.
