Coach Bella returned to the GVH program after graduating from Kimball Union Academy in 2020, where she captained the team and led them to a Lakes Region Championship appearance in her senior season.
Following her time at KUA, Bella pursued her collegiate career as a student-athlete at the University of Vermont, competing in Hockey East. During her time there, the program was ranked in the top 10 nationally in two seasons.
After graduating, Bella continued her career at St. Lawrence University for her fifth year, competing in the ECAC. During her time with the Saints, the team advanced to the Elite Eight in the NCAA National Championship tournament. Alongside her athletic career, Bella earned her master’s degree in Leadership.
In addition to her playing career, Bella has spent the past five years coaching at Elite Hockey Camps in New Hampshire, working with athletes of all ages on skill development, competition, and individual growth both on and off the ice. She has also coached with DAGS Hockey in New Jersey for two years, further expanding her experience in player development and mentorship.
Bella returned to Kimball Union Academy in the fall of 2025, serving as the Head Coach of the Girls’ Varsity Soccer program and as an Assistant Coach for the Girls’ Varsity Hockey team. As she transitions into this leadership role, Bella will enter her first full season as Head Coach during the 2026–27 academic year.
Bella brings not only a strong knowledge of the game, but also a unique perspective shaped by her own experience at KUA as a student-athlete and now as a coach, allowing her to lead with both understanding and intention.
