    2024 - 2025

The Kimball Union Academy Field Hockey team comprises a dedicated group of athletes who excel both on the field and academically. Competing in the Lakes Region League, which includes schools from New Hampshire and Vermont within the New England Prep School Athletic Conference (NEPSAC), we travel across New England to compete against top-tier teams. Our program is known for its consistent excellence, having reached the NEPSAC tournament quarterfinals in 2012, 2018, and 2023, and the finals in 2015. With a proud tradition of success, the team captured the New England Prep School Class C Title in 2007, 2008, and 2009. Many Kimball Union Wildcats have advanced to collegiate-level play, with recent graduates joining programs at James Madison University, Merrimack College, Skidmore College, Utica College, and St. Lawrence University.

In 2024, the team will be guided by new Athletic Director Becca Main. Coach Main, a dynamic leader, brings nearly three decades of experience in athletics, health, and wellness. She pioneered Quinnipiac University’s first field hockey and women’s lacrosse teams, transforming them into top-tier Division I programs. As an administrator for the National Field Hockey Coaches Association (NFHCA), Coach Main has contributed significantly to the executive team, focusing on motivation, organization, and innovative solutions for athletic challenges. An accomplished former Penn State field hockey All-American and USA Field Hockey Women’s National Training squad member, Coach Main champions the student-athlete experience and understands the profound impact of sports on campus life and community morale.
