    2020 - 2021

The Kimball Union Academy Girls Basketball team comprises a strong group of well-rounded female athletes who work hard both on the field and in the classroom. KUA competes in the Lakes Region League, a league comprised of New Hampshire and Vermont schools within the New England Prep School Athletic Conference (NEPSAC). We travel all over New England to play against other very competitive schools.
Our program is perennially among the top in our league, having finished as a finalist in the NEPSAC tournament in 2013 and 2014 and a semi-finalist in 2022. With a strong tradition of winning, the team captured the New England Prep School Class C Title in 2000, 2001, 2003, 2007, and 2014.
The varsity team traditionally boasts a diverse representation of players local to the school’s region and from around the globe. The 2022- 2023 team is made of players from all over the world, including places as close as Meriden, NH, and as far as Costa Rica.
Many of KUA’s former players have played and continue to play at many top DI, II, and III schools. Recent graduates have played at the following colleges and universities: Boston College, Daemen University, Trinity College, Bowdoin College, Skidmore College, St. Lawrence University, Colby College, Connecticut College, Rhode Island College, and Merrimack College, to name just a few.

  • KUA girls record first win!

After falling to Proctor in a tight contest the previous night, the KUA Girls fought hard and achieved a victory over a tough Proctor team.  Junior Hailey Malozzi helped build a first-half lead with six three-pointers before the break and led all scorers with 24 points.  Team scoring leader, Senior Jenna Santos, helped close out the win with nine 4th Quarter points and finished the night with 13.  Junior Olivett Okoh dropped nine points and plenty of rebounds and sophomore Allie McCorkle helped bring her usual offensive energy, getting multiple trips to the free throw line and finishing with 4 points.  As usual, Senior Emily Pariseau and Junior Emma Lapsley were the anchors on the defensive end, helping the team hold Proctor's talented point guard in check!  It was a great team effort and a well-deserved win!
