Senior guard, Maddy Haynes entered the night needing just 9 points to hit the 1000th point milestone.  Maddy has spent her 3 year KUA career filling whatever role we have asked of her and tonight belonged to her.  She undoubtedly wishes the team had won the game instead but that wasn't to be tonight.  The Wildcats came out swinging in the first quarter and went on a run before the Huskies hit a 3 near the end of the quarter to make the score 14-9 at the buzzer.  While the Wildcats fought hard all game in the end the Huskies had too many legs for the Wildcats to keep up.  
Junior guard Jenna Santos and sophomore Hailey Malozzi paced the Wildcats tonight on the offensive end with 13 points a piece.  While senior Lexy Gray once again anchored the defense.  

KUA rebounded after a heartbreaking loss on Saturday to Brewster to beat Vermont Academy at home on Monday night.  KUA played a complete game that  saw every Wildcat get playing time and all score.  KUA was paced on the offensive end by Sophomore guard Hailey Malozzi who scored 25.  Senior point guard Maddy Haynes played an outstanding game, she earned her 16 points the hard way shooting 8 for 10 from the free throw line and setting up her teammates with some nifty assists all night long.  She is now just 9 points away from her 1000th career point in her 3 year career here at KUA. And newcomer sophomore Lisa Olive scored a career high 8 points.  

KUA had a tough night on the offensive end while Brewster was hot from behind the 3 point line.  KUA was led by sophomore Hailey Malozzi who finished with a game high 16 points but was one of the few Wildcats that could get the ball to go through the hoop.
