The Junior Varsity teams at Kimball Union Academy are dedicated to teaching fundamental skills, fostering athletic growth, and creating the foundation for future success as Wildcat student-athletes. Focused on development, these teams provide an inclusive and supportive environment for players to improve their abilities, build confidence, and gain valuable game experience.
Coaches emphasize skill development, teamwork, and sportsmanship, ensuring that every player grows both on and off the field, ice, court, or track. Through practices, games, and team-building activities, JV athletes learn what it means to be a part of the Wildcat community—playing with pride, determination, and camaraderie.

KUA traveled to Holderness for the JV Lakes Region tournament. What an exciting event for KUA girls. Kelly Do and Meghan St. Pierre, played singles, Kelly having to play number 1 for the first time, winning 2 out of 3 games placing second in the overall standings. It was a pleasure to watch Kelly win against Brewster 8-5, and Dublin 8-4. She lost graciously her game against Holderness. Kelly impressed everyone with her form and determination. She kept a positive attitude and a smile on her face the whole time. Meghan played a great game against her opponent from Holderness. Almost every game went to deuce, not knowing who's going to win the next one. Unfortunately a few errors on Meghan's side gave Holderness the advantage needed to win 7-9. Our number 1 and number 2 doubles gave us a great show. Lidia and Louise won the number 2 doubles beating Dublin 8-0 and Holderness 8-3 winning the championship. Our number 1 doubles Hana Calores and Kristen Cheng became vice-champions after winning 9-7 against Dublin and loosing 8-4 to Brewster. Our girls presented themselves and our school really well. Congratulation to all our athletes for a great season.
