Most KUA meals are served in Doe Dining Commons. The commons are open for three meals a day on weekdays, Saturdays for breakfast, lunch, and dinner, and on Sundays for a mid-morning brunch and dinner. Food is provided by
SAGE Dining Services. Students have unlimited access to Dining Commons food during its open hours.
Dining Commons options are all-encompassing and include a self-serve hot food section, fruit and salad bar, sandwich bar and soup station, and the popular wok bar in addition to drink and dessert options. The menu provides a lot of variety including food truck-inspired dishes and authentic international cuisine to expose students to the tastes and flavors from around the world. The Dining Commons staff easily accommodates all food allergies and dietary restrictions, and nutritional guidance is provided through the Spotlight Program.
On select occasions throughout the year, the community participates in family-style meals. Students are assigned to faculty tables on a rotating basis throughout the year, providing them an opportunity to meet new students and adult members of the community.
Additional Dining OptionsThe School Store in the Barrette Campus Center also offers students a range of food items including pizza, breakfast sandwiches, sushi, coffee selections, and snacks. Students can pay with cash or charge their student escrow accounts with their KUA ID cards.
