Offense Powers Wildcats Past Governor's

Junior forward Zach Whitehead scored a hat-trick and added an assist while linemate Tomas Mazura had six points to help the Wildcats to a lopsided 11-0 win over Governor’s Academy on Friday in Meriden. KUA led 3-0 after one period on goals from Mazura (1G, 5A), Drew Bennett (1G, 1A), and Grant Eastwood (1G). KUA then tallied four goals in the second period as Sullivan Mack (1G, 1A), Brian Carrabes (1G, 2A), Arlo Merritt (1G) and Whitehead (3G, 1A) found the back of the net. The third period was more of the same as Teddy Griffin (1G, 1A) and Seth Stadheim (1G) squeezed goals around two more by Whitehead to round out the scoring.
