William V. Neverett

William V. Neverett, age 81, passed away on Friday, July 27, 2018 at Southern NH Medical Center in Nashua, with his family by his side. He was born on October 9, 1936 in Nashua, NH, the son of the late William John and Albena (Champagne) Neverett.

Bill was a parishioner at St. Christopher Catholic Church in Nashua for over sixty years, marrying his love Sheila (McArdle) in 1958 at their altar. He was a graduate of Nashua High Class of 1954. He attended Kimball Union Academy prep school and Bryant College. He also served in the National Guard.

For over 70 years Bill was a car salesman, making his first sale at the age of 10. His family owned and operated the Desoto/Plymouth dealership in downtown Nashua. He also worked for various dealerships in Southern New Hampshire. He later worked as an independent wholesale dealer and could be found at auctions throughout the area.

In his spare time, Bill could be found at any ball field, stadium, or court in the state. He was a frequent sight at Nashua sporting events. In his free time, Bill loved to fish, collect replica vintage cars, and sing, dance and play the piano as well as other instruments. Bill's most cherished times were sitting at the kitchen table with his family celebrating birthdays and playing cards. And he never missed the opportunity to tell a good story. To Bill, there were no strangers, only friends he hadn't met yet.

In addition to his parents, Bill was predeceased by his sister Beverly Smith and his nephew Neverett Smith. Bill is survived by his wife Sheila and their four children and their spouses, Kathie and her husband Marty Russo of Franklin, Bill (B.J.) of Nashua, Nancy and her husband Rich Guidoboni of Nashua, and Tim and his wife Jess of Nashua and nine grandchildren, Katie, Erin, Alyssa, Emily, Matt, Kyle, Hannah, Joe and Drew. Bill also leaves behind a great grandchild, Donovan, a brother in law, Peter McArdle and his wife Terry of Merrimack and many other loving extended family members.
