KUA holds Holderness to 9-5

The Wildcats had a hard fought battle against Holderness this week. The offense was able to make some great team plays in the attack with two goals a piece from Lindie Brinkman and Hadley Bethke. Svia Russmann-Araya also captured a goal for the Wildcats and an assist. Portia Berard, Lindie Brinkman, and Maggie Lopez were able to help the attack with an assist each. Additionally, Ali Sprissler was a force offensively as a workhorse to continually fight for the ball back as Holderness would transition the ball.

However, the true all stars of the game was the defense with Bridget Clark in goal and Sylive McClure, Maggie Lopez, McKenna Dockery, Payson Fowler-Thorsen, Svia Russman-Araya, Lindie Brinkman, and Mallory Clark working as a defensive unit and keeping the Holderness attack at Bay. Towards the end of the game, this defense kept Holderness at 9 goals and even held off a goal for over a 3-minute possession.

KUA is looking forward to heading to NMH on Saturday for a 4:15PM game.
