Bethke's 100th Goal Helps Lead KUA to Their First Win of the Season

KUA took on Tilton for their home opener on Friday. The Wildcats came out strong from the first whistle. Hadley Bethke was a key player for the Wildcats, with four goals, including her 100th career goal. Svia Rusman-Araya, Lindie Brinkman and Portia Berard all added goals for KUA. As well, Ali Sprissler was a key player within the attack, consistently gaining possession of the ball and Maggie Lopez was a standout in the defense and even tallied a fast-break goal for the Wildcats. The defensive unit was the foundation to KUA's win, with Maggie Lopez, McKenna Dockery, Sylvie McClure, Payson Fowler-Thorsen and Bridget Clark working together to hold Tilton to only two goals.

KUA takes on Brewster tomorrow at home and looks to finish the weekend strong with another win.
