Wildcats Win Flood-Marr Tournament!

The line of Sam LeDrew (2 G, 3 A), Jack Sadowski (2 G, 3 A), and Corwith Simmers (1 G, 2 A) provided ample offense, and goalie Blake McMeniman stopped 27 shots as the Wildcats topped Salisbury 5-2 in the final game of the Flood-Marr tournament at Milton Academy. LeDrew and Sadowski each tallied in the first five minutes of the game, and though Salisbury responded to tie the game at two early in the second, McMeniman stood tall in the KUA net to allow LeDrew to net his second of the game, the eventual game winner, just minutes after Salisbury pulled even. In the third, Simmers buried a one-timer on the powerplay and Sadowski added an empty-netter to seal the game. For his efforts, Sadowski was named MVP of the tournament while LeDrew and McMeniman were named to the all-tournament team.
